dc.description | The Making Every Contact Count framework supports the implementation of Healthy Ireland throughout the Health Service. Implementation of this framework is a key strategic action in reducing the burden of chronic disease. The delivery of the Making Every Contact Count will require leadership at all levels throughout the organisation but clinical leadership will be particularly important in changing the culture towards the disease prevention agenda. Making Every Contact Count provides a unique opportunity for health professionals to support their patients in changing their lifestyle behaviours. I look forward to seeing the Making Every Contact Count framework come to life across our Hospital Groups and Community Healthcare Organisations and to this framework having a positive impact on the people for whom we provide care. | en |
