dc.descriptionDuring week 12, the week ending the 24th of March 2002, the GP consultation rate for influenza-like illness (ILI) has increased to its highest level this season. Eighteen ILI cases were reported from sentinel general practices, corresponding to a consultation rate of 29 per 100,000 population. Reports were received from 21 sentinel GPs, with 8 reporting ILI cases. Data for week 11 has been updated to 15 per 100,000, with 4 sentinel GPs reporting ILI cases.en_US
