dc.descriptionInfluenza activity remained low in Ireland during week nine, with fourteen cases of influenza-like illness (ILI) reported by the sentinel general practices. Virological indicators were slightly higher than in week eight with six influenza A and two influenza B detections. The proportion of influenza B positives has been increasing in Ireland and in many other European countries in recent weeks.en_US
