The audited accounts of the College of Anaesthetists for 2001 are presented here in the Annual Report. This is the fifth year in which the College has been audited as an Independent organisation following financial separation from the Royal College of Surgeons. In 1996 the income/expenditure of the then Faculty was £187.489/£110,978. The corresponding figures for 2001 were £ 1,131,903/£628,291. The comparison gives a clear indication of the expanding size and complexity of the College's activities over the past five years.en
