dc.descriptionThe single integrated multi-annual national control plan, hereafter referred to as the National Control Plan (NCP), presented by Ireland for the period from 1st January 2012 to 31st December 2016. The NCP for Ireland has been prepared in accordance with the requirements of Regulation (EC) No 882/2004. The NCP contains general information on the structure and organisation of the systems of controls for food, feed, plant health, animal health and animal welfare in Ireland. The NCP has been prepared jointly by the Food Safety Authority of Ireland (FSAI) and the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM). During the lifetime of the plan, delivery of the objectives will be monitored and the plan kept under review and updated as appropriate (see Section 6.1). Annual progress reports on implementation, as is required by Regulation (EC) No 882/2004, will be provided to the European Commission.en
