dc.descriptionThe Health and Wellbeing Division was supported in the development of this policy by the HSE National Expert Group on Vending who have come together as a multidisciplinary, cross divisional group to deliver this policy; the Health Promotion Unit of the Dept. of Health for ongoing advice and support. The published work undertaken in the USA, Australia, Canada, Wales and New Zealand was utilised in the development of the Policy. The Health Service Executive (HSE) policy is that all food and drink vending machines vending confectionary, drinks, fruit, snacks and hot beverages will carry greater provision of clearly labeled ‘Better Choice’ than ‘Other Choice’ food and drink products to make the healthy choice the easier choice in all HSE facilities.en_GB
