| dc.description | A significant development in our service during 1997 was the establishment of the Children and Families Programme and the appointment of a Programme Manager to that Programme. I believe this development very clearly signals the importance which our Board places upon services for children and families and it was part of the process of re-structuring which I brought about in order to better equip our Board to meet current and future challenges. The restructuring in general, and the establishment of the Children and Families Programme in particular, will allow our Board to continue the process of reorienting our services around care groups so that a seamless service can be offered to clients so that service delivery becomes more effective and efficient | en_GB |
