dc.descriptionSurvey of long-stay patients year end 31st December,1986 The present report gives the results of the s eleventh survey which relates t the year ended 31st December 1986. Response 275 long -stay units were contacted and 249 completed returns were received in the Department. This represents a response rate of 91% for 1ong-stay units but it includes approximately 95% of all long-stay geriatric beds. Returns received include all the Health Board hospitals a d homes. The attached tables are based on the returns received.en_GB
