| dc.description | This first Report of the Perinatal Reporting System has been prepared by Mr. Hugh Magee, Statistician in the Planning Unit, Department of Health. The Report would not have been possible without the co-operation and assistance of many people. These include the staffs of the maternity hospitals and units whose support was forthcoming throughout and the members of the Steering Committee established 10 monitor the operation of the reporting system and to oversee its implementation nationally. The membership of the Steering Committee is set out in full in Appendix F. It is also desired to acknowledge the commitment of the staff of the Central Computing Service, the Central Statistics Office and the Planning Unit, Department of Health. Or. P.
