We are pleased to submit this draft final report on the development of financial systems in St James's Hospital. During the last seven months (mid May to November) we have carried out a detailed review of the financial systems in St James's Hospital and identified the problems of the present systems,and made recommendations for short-term solutions. We have also identified the financial and management information needs of the hospital and have drawn up recommendations for the development and operation of new financial and management information systems.
