Description:
National Social Service Board (NSSB) is a resource agency whose aim is to inform and empower individual citizens and communities by ensuring that they are aware of all their civil and social rights and entitlements and of the social services that exist to support them. The NSSB brings together up-to-date information on all matters of public concern such as health, social welfare, taxation, housing and consumer affairs. It interprets and supplements this information and, because issues are often related, it brings them together in a comprehensive way. It provides information, together with training, to voluntary and statutory bodies which deal with individuals in need of information and advice.
