Description:
The purpose of this research is to identify how specific Community Education interventions, in four different sites across the country (Leitrim, Wicklow, Wexford and Kildare), have been experienced from the perspectives of the older participants. All of these projects received funding under the Get Vocal programme. The Kildare project was a VEC-led initiative and also received funding from the Kildare Partnership Company. The Get Vocal programme is an Age & Opportunity initiative aimed at strengthening the collective voices of older people.
