The aim of the Corporate Safety Statement is to formally declare the means by which the management of the HSE intends to comply with its statutory duty in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005 (SHAWW Act 2005) and associated regulations. The HSE is committed to ensuring in so far as is reasonably practicable the safety, health and welfare of employees, service users, visitors, contractors and others who may be affected by our activities. The Corporate Safety Statement has been prepared to inform all employees of the HSE’s Safety Management Programme and emphasises the importance of employee co-operation to ensure the successful implementation of the Safety Management Programme
