A research team from the School of Nursing in Dublin City University in association with the Irish Cancer Society conducted this research. The research team would like to thank everyone who participated in this research. We would like to thank the practitioners who completed questionnaires and the patients who shared their experiences by participating in the focus groups and completing questionnaires. Thank you to the members of the research steering group for their invaluable contribution to the development of this study. We greatly appreciated the support and facilitation received from lymphoedema practitioners, managers of occupational therapy and physiotherapy departments, and consultants throughout the research. Finally we would like to acknowledge the Irish Cancer Society, who commissioned and funded this important research.
