This paper was written to provide an insight into how multi-agency resource panels were/are understood in a national context. Within the LANS (Limerick Assessment of Need project) the Resource Panels were seen as a key component in assembling relevant expertise around the needs of a child. This paper sought to suggest what steps needed to be taken in the formation of such panels
