| Description: | We present this report in three sections, first for the entire country, second for health
boards and thirdly for each hospital individually. Data presented here constitute that
thought to be of general interest but more extensive information is available and can be
obtained on request from the Health Research Board. The form used by hospitals for
gathering the information sent to us is shown on page 7.
Coverage
The data in this report cover all in-patient psychiatric facilities in the country except for
the psychiatric unit in St. Vincent's Hospital, Elm Park, Dublin, and the psychiatric unit
in James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, Dublin. Data for St. Teresa's
unit in the General Hospital, Castlebar is included with the figures for SI. Mary's
Hospital, Castlebar; similarly data from the unit in the General Hospital, Letterkenny
are included in the returns for St. Conal's, Letterkenny |
