| Description: | This Joint Initiative, with relatively small resources, has acted as a
catalyst for engagement and provides valuable learning for new
community participation in primary care projects. A key to the success
of the Initiative is the multiplicity of approaches that have been
developed; these have allowed flexibility to respond to local needs and
the different stages of project development. This suggests that a ‘one
size fits all’ approach is not appropriate, since levels of community
development and infrastructure and Primary Care Team (PCT)
development vary from area to area. |
