      <description>Title: Commission of investigation: Report into the Catholic diocese of Cloyne&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Description: The Dublin Archdiocese Commission of Investigation was establishedin March 2006 to report on the handling by Church and State authorities of arepresentative sample of allegations and suspicions of child sexual abuseagainst clerics operating under the aegis of the Archdiocese of Dublin overthe period 1975 - 2004. The report of the Commission was published (withsome redaction as a result of court orders) in November 2009. Towards theend of its remit, on 31 March 2009, the Government asked the Commission tocarry out a similar investigation into the Catholic Diocese of Cloyne.During the Cloyne investigation the Commission examined allcomplaints, allegations, concerns and suspicions of child sexual abuse byrelevant clerics made to the diocesan and other Catholic Church authoritiesand public and State authorities in the period 1 January 1996 – 1 February2009.This report deals with the outcome of the Cloyne investigation.</description>
